Lens Flare Problem Solved

To make a long story short, I solved my problem by removing the UV filter from my lenses when I shoot at night. I first noticed this problem when shooting at night and I would see little greenish spots on my image. At first, I thought I had a camera or lens problem. Well, the problem occurred on my ...

Tie the EM1 MK 1 to spot sensor

I just finished watching Rob's great video on How To Use Spot Metering. I tried to tie my EM1 Mk1 spot meter to the spot sensor. I selected spot metering and noticed the following. Portrait Head Shot EM5 II

I shot this with the EM5 II. I used an Einstein overhead in a 50" PLM. The problem with the umbrella is that it's hard to work with in lower ceilings. So, I turned it so it faces the floor and worked with the edge of the light. It's ok, but you can lose the catch lights in the eyes of the subject dr...

Hot Pixels or Lens Flare

I've noticed these blue little dots in several images. They usually show up when the lens is pointed at some bright light sources. I can also see them in the camera now that I'm more aware of them. AT first, I thought it was lens flare, but now I'm thinking it's hot pixels. I'm using an EM5 II with ...

Re: Post your daily pics here!

Here is an image from my EM 5 II over the Pacific en route to Japan. I did not use an Art filter. I processed it in DXO 3 with the Film Pack

Here is my 'pic' of the day. Didn't take a camera with me, so had to use the iPhone. The photo is a sort of a homage to a friend of mine who specialises in 'found' photos. So I took this for him but thought I would share with you too........
cheers
