I was able to try my 100-400 lens with a 1,4 teleconverter. the picture is taken on a windy day in full daylight.

they are both shot at f6,3 just cropped a little. the dof is actually better than what im used to with a macro lens even in mft format.
Here is anotner normal shot at f6,3 no crop. I usually need f8-13 to get the dof i need for a butterfly, but at 400mm i can do it at f6,3.

Thank yoy Rob. I think the E-M1 III and the 100-400 is a good combo, its strudy enough to support the lens, and not too bulky when i crawl around to get a low shot. if it fails a shot its usually my own fault.
