Re: FYI
I upgraded my graphics card to a 4 gb nvidia card. This allowed me to install and run the new OM Workspace. However, just like Demorcan reported, the new AI Noise Reduction feature will not install/run on my older Intel i7 Windows 10 (64 bit) computer. These are the OM system requirements for AI Noi...

FYI
I upgraded to the new Workspace. The new Workspace won't run on my Windows 10 desktop pc. The previous version of workspace is gone. OM systems support could not resolve the issue and could not give me the previous version because they don't have it. My PC is older, but has an Intel quad core i7 run...

Just for fun selfie
The challenge is to post a self portrait within these guidelines: 1) The image should be of you getting ready or actually doing what you like to do. Examples: hiking, photographing, fishing, painting, waxing your car, woodworking, your hobby, editing photos, gardening, walking the dog, etc. 2) The i...

Hi-Res Cactus Flower
Last Friday I hiked the Treasure Trail in the Superstition Mountains. Some of the Saguaro (pronounced sa-WAH-ro) cacti are still blooming. I took two shots of this young Saguaro. Young because it has not grown a branch yet which means it is under 75 years old. It was about 12 feet tall. I had my em1...

Re: Blue Jay close up
Good story.
Great photo. Thanks for sharing.
My first digital was an Hewlett Packard. I think it was 2.1 mg. Why did I buy a camera from a printer company? It must have been a good price for all those pixels. I don't remember much about it other than it was a lousy camera.

Re: Tone editing
Paint Shop Pro and I go back to about the year 2000. I was beginning my photo business venture and could not afford Adobe. Paint Shop by Jasc was the poor man's version of Photoshop. Corel bought PSP and continued to be a less expensive alternative to Photoshop with yearly upgrades. I used PSP exclu...

Tone editing
While hiking I saw a distant rain storm. I only had my Oly 12-45 f4 pro on my em1.3 with me. The shots I took were underexposed and too wide. But they were hand held hi-res. So, I thought black and white. Then I delved into tone editing in 4 different photo editors. Finally, I have included 2 color ...
