These were 1/500 to 1/1000 at f5.6. The best time for infrared is mid day with clear skies. Always lots of light.

Mirrorless cameras are a great choice for infrared conversion. These were taken with an EM 5 I pieced together from two damaged cameras and had converted to full spectrum. I think this is a great lens. Image below was handheld at f 5. I also have done handheld in camera focus bracketing and the results are very good to my eye.
