em1mII remote control
I know that with my em10mii I used an olympus smartphone remote control that showed the screen of the camera. With the Em1mII and using Olympus share I only get a screen on the phone that gives me a shutter button. What am I doing wrong?

Getting my OM2 working
I got some silver oxide 357 batteries (they work in my HP 42s calculator) but still the mirror was locked up. If you look on the shutter ring there is a "reset *" (the star is red). Rotate this to the red dot on the lower right and push the little button there to get mirror back down! After being of...

Good to know you solved it! In my case I was looking thru the EVF and completely missed the MF indication!

Re: I thought my 40 to 150 Pro Lens Died!!!!
Is it possible that the focus ring was bumped into the manual mode? I had this happen with my 17mm f18 lens, panic ensued until I discovered the focus ring had slipped into the manual position.

What telephoto lens?
Thinking ahead to November sales, I'm thinking of adding telephoto lens to my new EM1MII. I already have the 75 tp 300, the 40 to 150 f2.8 pro looks interesting, especially the low f-stop and the possibility of using the 1.4x adapter. The F4 300 seems out of my price bracket, but the 100 to 400 look...

New EM1 Mark II
Could not resist the flash $900 deal on an em1 Mark 2. I'll probably keep the great EM10Mark II, but I think I'll actually use the pro capture of the EM 1. Should be here in the next few days from Adorama. Rob, did you make a video of your EM1 MarkII settings? I suspect they will be similar to the E...

Re: 35mm neg scanning
You can also get a Nikon ES-1 slide copier (iits just a holder that with an adapter will fit your Olympus. But of all the things I've tried, Rob's mention of the Epson scanner ( I have the V500 photo) is still the easiest and fastest. Fast, however is relative. I would consider having them done by a...

Dynamic vs. Condenser mic's 9 aug chat
Rob. on your live chat on the 9th you mentioned changing from the Fifine (??) condenser mic to a dynamic mic. I always thought dynamic mic's where worse than condenser mic's. Maybe I'm stuck in the 60's! I seems that if you really want to tweak the mic, then you need a mixer/preamp, independent of t...
