Im doing some photos editing using Luminar 4. This Software is amazing if you want to play around . The first one is the original photo.
The 2 following photos are just some creative ideas using Luminar 4.
( ps; I know that is not all photographers cup of tea so be kind. )

Hello All!

I took this picture last night. Used the EM1.2, 300mm f/4 - MC-14,(420mm) 1/250th ss - f/11 - ISO 1000.
I did crop 50% in Lightroom. I was wondering about the edge of the Moon. Is it defraction? or might I have something set wrong in camera.. Maybe my focus was off? I'd like to get the trees and the moon all in focus
Thanks

Great Picture Steve.
I tried to capture the moon too. But I really didn't find the moon that impressive.
With a turn to shadow on the WB it seems to be more like a sundown. As you can see here.

E-M10 II, 40-150 F4.0-5.6 R, at 123mm f 5,3 , 1/13sec , ISO 3200 , -1.3ev , spot metering , WB shadow , SOOC hand held , just some cropping

I tried to get some more details of the moon with various settings, but with not much success. Maybe some haze or clouds caused that. All advices are appreciated.

Cheers Thomas

I took a picture of the moon in 2018 with my EM5.2 and the Panasonic Leica 100-400 at 400, and used Capture One to do diffraction correction. This adds sharpness but does not impact the image color as shown below (correction applied on the left image, look at the crater at 1 o'clock).

Could this be an atmospheric coloring issue? It was said that the moon had a orange color cast this last days, could had this caused this?

Magnified at 300%, ISO 200 1/80s F/18 EV -3.0

I'll play a bit with my white balance too. I really like the composition you have in your picture. Framed nicely.
Stay safe
