I photograph distilleries when I go. Then I make a print and give it to them at the visitor center. Usually they hang my print there. A barrel of bourbon makes about 200 bottles. I like to get barrel picks which are best barrels. Sometimes they will ask me to come in. And I get a chance to buy one of those 200 (or less) special bottles. Sometimes someone will see one of my photos and want me to shoot something for them. While this is part of the distillery collection, in this case I did not think it good enough to give them. And Maker's Mark does not do barrel picks so... I have so many almost shots. BTW, Rob edited this, but my edit was not a four minute one. Maybe if I had went his direction it would have made it. I send in some of my failures to see if he can make them work. And he does often, so I am learning.
