Dew Pond

Post by Richard Francis »

This is a small dew pond on the top of some hills (called the 'Southdowns' on the southern coast of the UK). I've only been to photograph it twice, but both times has rewarded me for my effort. I hope to go again soon!

Thank you for the comments. It was taken on an E-M1 mk2 with a Lumix 8-18 F2.8-4 lens @ 12mm, ISO 64, 40 second exposure, 10 stop ND filter.

I used F22 not only to extend the exposure time but to also get the best star burst from the sun. The Lumix Leica lenses seem to do a good job of this. I also have the Lumix Leica 12mm lens which is one of my favourite lenses.
