Another 1:1 crop (came out at 1081) from the 100-300 at 300. I was out in the rain so you can see the rain drops falling in front of the bird and rain drops rolling down the tail. I will not post any more of these deep crops. Still sometimes it is interesting to know the limits or a midrange lens and what is gained besides weight going to a premium lens. For its weight and cost, I think it will be fine for online posts. Prints, not so much.
