Preview of MagRat cat's next Lockdown Challenge

Post by MagRat Garlic »

There's still a week or two before MagRat releases her next Lockdown Photography Challenge. She's not about to tell you exactly what it'll be, but, if you watch Nigel Danson's Woodland Photography video (here and think about how the Amateur Photographer magazine expanded on the theme of Food Photography, then you'll start to get the idea that the name of a Challenge is open to interpretation. DON'T DO THE OBVIOUS 😜.

It will be something you can do in your own back garden*, or using plants on your balcony or window ledge. (*or "Yard" for Americans who are still learning English English 😉.)

MagRat Hopes you visited the Amateur Photographer "Food Photography" results in her last message, and that you are still working on a few Food images. Even smartphone images will do, as it's as much about interpretation as showing a technically perfect image. Rick Bear may even use a smartphone for his example, just to show that we're not being too precious nor seeking perfection.

The theme of MagRat's next Challenge will be "Woodland Photography in Lockdown", so you'll need to be creative, unless you are Lord Whatever with a vast Estate outside your back door. Macro and/or Landscape will come into MagRat's next Challenge, so be prepared.

Now it's time for MagRat's lockdown dinner and a good long snooze. So, Rick and I will catch you all in Rob's livestream, where you're welcome to ask Rick Bear for a few more clues. Just remember, these Challenges aren't too serious, just some light relief when we can't go out snapping.

Nite,
Maggie "the MagRat" 😻😸😺😽
