That's really cool! I'll have to experiment with this too. Thanks for sharing.

2020/04/28 There's another one from the same stuff. But this time creating reflections on the CD with a little LED-Light. The trayectory (line, curve, circle,..) of the lamp determine the reflection.

2020/04/29 Birth of a new Planet?
SoapBubble Experience, I got the bubble in the right size. In the next session I have to care more about light and reflections in the room.

Looks amazing. Never tried something like this. Did you used glycerin to make the bubble more stable?

Hi Paul, you can do this with glycerin o sugar. In this case I used one part dishwashing liquid (25ml), two parts of water (50ml) an one teaspoon sugar - let stand half an hour. Put part of the liquid in a lenscup o similar. Blow with a drinking straw in a very flat angle over the liquid surface, elect one bubble and inflate it. Light: Ideal is a softbox 50 x 50 cm (approx.), I don't have, so was using a flash with a white carton (home made)

2020/04/25 Playing with soap-bubbles - psychedelic colors. I have to experiment with the soap mixture, want only one great bubble like in the background of the photo...

This is a very interesting image, Paul. It almost reminds me of a broken lightbulb. I wonder if you might try combining your soft soap bubbles with the hard and sharp glass shards of a broken lightbulb. The juxtaposition of sharp and soft would be reminiscent of that famous image of a potato full of razor blades. If the shards of glass and those soft bubbles were placed on a bath sponge, then the danger of the imagery could be extremely powerful.
