Not a best shot but

Post by DeMorcan »

This is definitely I was working on some of my culls to try and improve my editing skills. In this one I added the lighting and thought it turned out better than I thought. I underexpose often to keep detail in the reds and yellows. I do not saturate as as that may bleed. I do use the channel mizer and and sometimes LAB to intensify the color and prevent bleed. I am still experimenting and self teaching as I have not really found a good tutorial about this. I thought maybe I got this boring photo good enough for social media where it is just a fast look and move on to the next thing.

I am using LR for non global editing tools. And PS to finish as I like to make prints and to make layers I can move a pixel or 3 and and use a light or dark mode to remove halos. I started in '94 with PS and still kinda use it like I always did because I never understood all the new stuff. Trying to learn smart objects as I can see it will save me so many layers. I experiment to learn.

I finally sent the original ORF for yout edit along with my edit to see how they compare when you are done. I used LR because local adjustments did not work.
