Anyone interested in infrared?

Post by Edgewood »

Mirrorless cameras are a great choice for infrared conversion. These were taken with an EM 5
I pieced together from two damaged cameras and had converted to full spectrum. I used screw on lens filters for 580nm and 720nm for the first two images, respectively. The third image is full spectrum. Colors have been inverted in lightroom for the first two.

Nice. I was thinking of converting a camera to infrared only. How long were the exposures for these shots with the infrared?

These were 1/500 to 1/1000 at f5.6. The best time for infrared is mid day with clear skies. Always lots of light.
