My name's Rob. Originally from the UK but living in Japan.
I'd been interested in photography for a few years, but never took the step to buying a camera until last year. Prior to that I used my smartphone for most of my pictures. Before that I think my last camera purchase was a Casio Exlim point and shot back in 2006(?).
I got the Olympus EM10ii as it was on sale, and after watching Rob's beginner videos on how to use the Olympus system. He was what convinced me to buy the camera, and I haven't been disappointed. It's a lot more fun now to go and shoot when I have the time. Being a hobby that requires a bit of time going out on photo walks can be difficult with work and family priorities.
