Hello from Poland!

Hello all!
I am a hobbyist photographer (and a professional software developer) living in GdaĆsk, Poland. For years I've been shooting mainly on film with my Praktica SLRs and having digital photo experience only with smartphones and compacts. This year I decided it's time to try something new and start having fun with a digital interchangeable lens camera. Your youtube channel, Rob, was very helpful when I was choosing the system that I want to enter. I loved it how you presented the full menu walk-through and explained all the options that can be found in OM-D. It's great learning material!
I didn't want to spend a fortune on my first "real" digital camera as I am not doing photography for living. I stopped bringing my SLR with me in my backpack because it's too big and heavy, so I decided to start with E-M10 mkII - quite cheap, small, lightweight. I will only get for Christmas, but it's already waiting for me along with the kit "pancake" lens, Panasonic 25mm/1.7... and PB->M43 adapter to see if my old manual Praktica's gear can be of any use with M4/3 camera.
In the meantime I am also trying to learn some RAW editing tools and your live-edit streams are extremely useful for me (It's great that you are sharing your RAW files so I have something to train with). For now I am using mainly Darktable and Olympus Workspace and I think I am getting better results with the first one. Before I've only edited JPGs (mainly with GIMP, or Vuescan for scanned film) and I am amazed with how much more you can get from RAWs!
I'll try to join you on the live-edit stream today and will share my edit of your photo, I hope you will like it!
