Godox Flash and controller
Godox Flash and controller
Rob: I'd like to suggest that you might do a video re the full features of the godox TT350 and the X1T controller.
I certainly picked up the basis from several of your videos which were great, just looking for the full story as you mentioned you didn't want to go into some features in the earlier videos (likely as they would have been off-topic and /or too involved)
Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion, Jim.
I mainly left out the multi strobe function that I never use. I'll see if I can put something together.

Hi Rob!
I would be interested in finding more about the multi-strobe function. Just got my TT350-O flash and this was one function I was interested in.
Thx

Re: Godox Flash and controller
I'd like to see how the controller (and TT350) work with the OM-D E-M1iii.
The EM1iii is a recent purchase and I'm in need of some advice on the flash unit or controller purchase (perhaps both).
I also own the OM-D E-M5i and the FL-LM2 flash that came with it.
I've been using the FL-2 on the M5i to trigger the TT350o, similar to how Rob does in his videos, it works well.
The FL-2 is not compatible with the EM1iii so now without a trigger I tried the TT350 on the EM1iii, but the full power option doesn't show up. I see the Fill-in, Slow, Slow2, but the Full option is grey'd out (perhaps because the flash unit has control of the power settings I'm suspecting). It does flash and yes I can control the power with the dial on the back of the flash using the Fill-in option.
What would give me the best versatility a Trigger or another Flash (likely both)?
I liked the idea of a minimal flash directly on the camera, so a trigger and another flash (or stationary light) will likely be the best.
Thanks
Barry

Re: Godox Flash and controller
Any updates on this lately? What would be the recommended flash set up on an EM1 III for real estate interiors? Thanks.
Re: Godox Flash and controller
Hi, Barry & OKC.
Sorry for the late reply. You are correct that you must control the flash power on the flash and not in-camera. As for triggers, you can use the X1T-O or the XPro-O. Another viable option is to buy another TT350 or V1 and use that as a trigger and flash. This is what I do now. I use my V1 or TT350 to trigger my AD200 and AD400. Works great. For real estate, I use the V1 to trigger my AD200.
