Metering and focus

Rob can you link the metering with focus point on the oly omd em1 mk2 or with any olympus camera fot that matter. I see this is possible in some of the sony cameras. If possible,can you explain how to set this in the camera.

Yes. The higher end Olympus cameras can do that. The E-M5ii and up, maybe others but definitely not the e-m10. It's in menu E.
I used this method and showed the settings at about the 6:30 mark:
