Importing a custom profile
Rob, I can't seem to figure out how to import your Kodachrome 25 profile into WS or my Pen F. I'm sure it's not rocket science but I can't figure it out. Are you able to explain the process?
Re: Importing a custom profile
Hi
The quickest and most simple way is to "program" your profiles manually into WS. If you do this for a Pen F, you will typically like to open a Pen-F raw file and then enter the profile variables. When you are done with the "profile", you will save it as a Batch file. Now you can apply the batch file (with the profile) to any raw file from your Pen F...
The same for "programming" the profile into your Pen F. Unfortunately the Pen-F has a specific sequence you need to follow to save profiles. See the UM or the How-to page on my blog.
If you do not have a Pen F then you will open a jpeg file in WS, enter the profile variables and save it as a batch file...
I saw a "similar" question on another forum. The question was w.r.t. older E-Series cameras. For example, if you open an E3 raw file you will see many functions like the Color Profile function is grayed out. The solution is to work with jpeg files when working with cameras with no access to some of the newer creative features. Jpeg files have access to all the WS creative features...
Hope this helps
