NO BEEP

Recently purchased the om-d e-m5 mark iii. Did the system update to 1.5. Notice lens update is 1.1.
Very gradually learning how to use it. Never used a DSLR before. Have a Canon SLR for film and a couple of PowerShots.
This is a minor observation. For some reason, I never hear the focus beep. The sound option is turned on. Turned it off. Of course no beep. Turned it on again. Still no beep when pushing half way on shutter button. Is it possible the update removed the beep?
Don't remember if I heard the beep before the update.

If you're using silent/electronic shutter, then the beep is turned off regardless of menu setting.
