As many know I do not like sharpen which may increase noise or create halos. I mentioned this in Photoshop but I know some people use just Lightroom. This photo has no adjustments. All I did was Super Size it in the Photo > Enhance. Then I resized it to the original size in the Export menu as tiff. I then did a 1:1 crop of both and exported them as jpegs. So this is 100% look at portions of a photo with no sharpening or adjustments just to demonstrate what Lightroom can do. Of course all the other editing can be done and normally I would do some other things before bring out detail.. I may add an example I showing the sky where this reduces noise as it sharpens. This is one AI feature available in Lightroom. Of course Photoshop is updating their neural filters faster than they are adding them to Lightroom. I am still checking todays updates to PS. If you use Lightroom and want to get rid of noise in flat areas (skies, shadows etc) while brining out detail without sliders and adjustments, you might want to consider this. This is memory intensive. Also when you are done it stays in the clipboard and clearing the clipboard will free up your memory again. Of course you need to click on them to see the whole difference. Other techniques can then be applied if needed, but this is a good starting point and all many people will need.
