Unsafe web sites
Unsafe web sites
My virus detector goes off (bitdefender) when I log on - complains about unsafe URL's. I wonder if its just because you don't have a cert for the web site?

Re: Unsafe web sites
Yes, it has to do with not using https vs http. The cert is available, but I had some issues with cookies not working. I'll see what I can do because I can see people shying away from my forum.
Generally, certs are needed for sites that collect personal information making it harder for crooks to steal info over an unencrypted connection. So many virus detectors warn you that the site is unsafe, but really only in the context of sending personal info.

Re: Unsafe web sites
Having used encrypted emails, certs can sometimes be difficult to deal with, probably something you've dealt with in the past also!
