Why do we need Exposure Compensation and Tone Adjustments? Workspace and the camera's Gamma Curve convert the sensor's linear raw data into a human or JPEG format. These tone adjustments let us tweak the Gamma Curve in the camera and Workspace. Exposure Compensation (ISO) is part of the camera's Exposure Formula.
