Hello,
I used manual focus with a 60 second exposure on my screen to try to focus before going into live composite mode. I turned the focusing ring and would get a red set of dots. I couldn't get anything sharp.
What should be my procedure? I am brand new to live composite and night sky.

I used the EM1 2 with a 7-14 mm lens. Are the red dots focus peaking???

You can use focus peaking but sometimes it's not very accurate. Best way is to use the digital zoom and do it by eye.
