I have had Luminar for about a year but haven't done much with it yet. While it is pretty intuitive, there is a learning curve, as there is with any such program. I just picked up a copy of 'The Photographer's Guide to Luminar 4' by Jeff Carlson and it is excellent. The way it is organized is very user friendly and encouraging. It is non-linear, in the sense that you don't necessarily need to read it front to back, but skip around depending on your interests. It is a well written and very nicely printed. I highly recommend it. I suppose you can find it on Amazon but I ordered it through Rocky Nook, which is a really cool site devoted to educational photography books. rockynook.com is the site.

Thanks for the recommendation. I don't use Luminar but will check out the site for other books.
