Re: Rob excellent video on metering and exposure
Hi Rob
I have a suggestion for part 2 of your video...
As you know I have been writing a lot on exposure techniques and ETTR. This resulted in me taking out my light meter. I found this guy on YouTube and his videos are very interesting
Why him? He explains different exposure techniques and how to use a spot meter to adjust exposure. It will be very interesting if you could do this in part 2. How to use the camera spot meter to make exp comp settings...
Do you think that is possible?
Best
Siegfried

Re: Rob excellent video on metering and exposure
Thanks.
I watched this video a few years ago when I was looking at light meters. I watched it again (along with a few others by him) a few times yesterday to see if I could apply the techniques in a teachable way without a light meter. It's amazing how relevant everything he's teaching is now and will always be.
Using the light meter vs camera meter is just a matter of precision. It actually ties in with the zone system video I've been thinking about. I'll see if I can put a video together.
