E-M5 Mark III IBIS

Hello all,
I have a weird question for you... I've been shooting with a Pen EP-5 for quite a while. When I press the shutter halfway, I hear the IBIS kick in. I've just upgraded to a new E-M5 Mark III. I don't hear that soft whirring noise from the IBIS with it. I'm probably being paranoid and I know Olympus makes top quality gear. But I also know stuff happens. Sometimes things don't work. So my question is to all you E-M5 shooters out there... do you hear the IBIS kick in? How might I confirm that it's working? I'm asking because I did a hand-held test - same lens, same lighting, same subject between the E-M5 III and the Pen and the Pen's images were sharper. (Oh and yes, I have confirmed that I have IBIS on the same setting in both cameras.)
Thanks for the help! Aside from this small worry, I'm pretty thrilled with the E-M5 III.
