Hi Rob. Just want to know if i will be able to repair my slightly loose thumb rest with the Sugru that suggested. Will i need to to detach it completely and then re-attach it with the Sugru?I did contact the olympus servise centre and they said the repairwork would not be to expensive but that it will be better to waite untill the thumb piece comes loose completely.

The gorilla super glue in gel form would work perfect for that. With my work on getting homes ready for rent on doing repairs in occupied homes for real estate companies they are usually on a budget. And it’s amazing how many plastic pieces for appliances you can fix with that stuff.

Very late in reply.I heard there is a small screw underneath the thumb rest. When using a very strong suprglue it maybe would hamper repairwork to cameea when needed. I am still waiting for it come loose completely and will tgen mold some Sugru glue into a thumb rest. Sugfested by Ron also and it forms a sort of soft rubber feel.
