Olympus Viewer 3 version 2.4.1

I know this is the Workspace forum but I prefer Oly Viewer 3 to download my Oly photos rather than Workspace. I do use workspace for some of my PP but also Lightroom, luminar 4 and RawTherapee.

I recently bought a new laptop but as it does not have a CD drive had problems finding the Oly Viewer software to install. I used my old Oly CD on my old laptop to copy the program and install it on my new laptop, however, it was version 1.4.1.

Today searching for the differences between 1.4 and 2.4 I came across Softpedia https://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedi ... l#download.

This enabled me to update the Oly Viewer to 2.4.1 by using the download.

Whether this works if you don't have Oly Viewer 1.4.1 I don't know but this info may be of use to someone like myself who likes Oly Viewer 3 for downloading photos.
