I was doing lenses tests for some friends. While the test was mainly for curvature of field to separate the rendering lenses from the landscape lens, I found something interesting. I took all the image on my card and just changed it between cameras before we went out shooting. When I looked at the photos, I happened to notice the shadow recovery was better in the EM1IIIs than in the EM1IIs. There was a little less noise, but more noticeable more accurate colors in shadows with the EM1IIIs. Since I was looking at RAWs, I think this may be a sensor change. Does anyone know? And while it is highly technical and will not matter to most people, I am wondering if the EM10IV has the better sensor and may give better images (in some circumstances than the EM1II).

I never looked for this subtle difference, but it's most likely the change from a Trupic Viii to IV and not the sensor.
