I had a question since I won't be there.

My Olympus FL-50 flash just died. Funny I was just chatting with Robin in the last live stream about how I still use this old flash.

Which Godox flash should I buy? I'm planning on doing some Macro photography with it. In the past I also had the FL-50 and F-36R and it worked pretty good for portraits and other projects. Would having a 685 and 350 be a similar setup? Or should I just go with the two big 685 flashes instead? Then both flashes can either be the AA battery or proprietary variant and a couple different trigger options. Any thoughts on the flash system?

I think for macro you can get away with a tt350 and x1t. Maybe add the 685 if you need more power for other stuff. Neewer is selling the x1t for just $25. So you'll save about $15 if you buy it all separately. Affiliate links below.

Thanks! I ended up getting the TT350 flash, trigger and some fresh batteries from B&H. I was going to use your links but according to Amazon the flash unit would be here in the middle of May. B&H was on the passover holiday but I still wasn't going to get it until April 22nd. I guess its good that I don't have any sort of jobs instead of a hobby that rely on a flash. If I did, I would probably have two of almost everything. Anyways, sorry I didn't use your affiliate link but I will take care of you in another way and probably worth more.
