Hello Rob,
I glad to see your website and the forum too. Sorry I wasn't able to participate to couple of live stream because my work is very time consuming since a moment now.
To answer your question about editing I mainly use Capture One for color shifting, because you can really fine tune the color range. I also use Luminar 4 for sky replacement mainly. Photoshop is also used when I do composite or when I need to achieve a complexe rendering.
I don't really use any presets, what I like to do is first desaturate, washout the color and after work on color shifting in order to get a vintage/faded look that I like. I found also that teal and orange color tones are working with this kind of look I am leaning towards.
Also most important thing, is that watching your live editing session helped me greatly to progress and work my creativity. It great to have different point of view and work on others pictures. I'm not shooting a lot of photo so it's very nice to have some shots to work with, especially when those are challenging one.
Take care and we'll see at one of your upcoming live stream.

I originally posted this version in the native aspect ratio of the camera.
I later decided a pano cropped version focuses the eye. The river and rocks below really don't add anything. They only distract. The colors and people are the where the viewer should focus their eyes.
Once I saw how nice this looked I felt the sky needed a little more drama so I masked and tweaked it.
This version has three layers - rocks, trees, sky. They beauty of layers in Capture One.

Guess I got mine it to late. Kept most of it and cloned the man out and did something different with the colors.

Here is my edit that got lost somehow that day. Kinda like a lithograph as I have 60 years of taking photos and like to do something different now.
