I think I'm getting there

Post by Randy »

After much experimentation, I think I'm getting the effect I'm looking for. I have had a hard time stacking the photos in Photoshop or lightroom. What I found was star stacking software works the best. It's called StarstaX. My vision is to get the large amount of turbines in the desert to look kinda like this and then get a daisy's center flower part and superimpose that into the turbine, looking like daisy's in the desert. :D

That is a great photograph. Very cool. What happens if you use something like the live composite instead of stacking? I guess that would just cause blurring? Great project.

I tried live composite, but it was too weak to show the blades. I finally ended up taking about 350 shots and then stacking them in Starstax, which is for astronomy start stacking.
