Best shot?

Post by DeMorcan »

On social media, some places are asking for your best photo of the year. I only took a few thousand personal photos this year and did not have a really good one. Then I found this in on my client drive. It ended up being seen online and purchased as a book cover (one of my niches). It is a total accident. There was road work and a temporary stop light where things were they were working. As I looked at that old tree, it reminded me of my 2020 at that point. Watching all the young vibrant people around me as I stand old and worn, but still standing with the dark clouds of covid hanging over us this summer. Technically, it is not a good photo. Still, I related to it. I suppose it is my best personal shot of the year. There always is one even when it is not that good.
