buymeacoffee editing
Hello everyone, Yesterday a daughter of a friend asked me for an exchange.
Her father bought an Olympus em1x with 12-40mm and now she wants to exchange that camera for my Fuij xh1 and fuji xf 10-24mm and fuji xf 16-55mm F2.8 and fuij 90mm f2.
By the way, I already own an Olympus em1 markii.
She studies the same as my son, namely directing. What is your advice?
Sometimes I can't refuse emerging talent, so I have my doubts.
While drinking coffee, she took this photo and said to me, post this photo on
Rob Trek 's forum for editing. Apparently Rob is also popular with the younger audience.
That's why I'm posting this photo for editing.

Re: buymeacoffee editing
Thanks. Glad for something new to edit. I will probably do 2 or 3 as I usually do.
Re: buymeacoffee editing
Hello Demorcan, we did the same edit so I think this is the best edit then. Thank you for your editing.
Re: buymeacoffee editing
Yours has more detail. I went for a smooth artist look. Then I tried to do a Marcel thing and made the cup a plastic nightlight. I messed up some of the masking and am not as good as you. Still, I think it is a decent first try. But it is a different look for your friend and if they like the edits here, they want different.
Re: buymeacoffee editing
I like to do an edit just for fun. So here it this one. It was this or have it hovering in one of my Alien skies with flames coming out of the bottom.
Re: buymeacoffee editing
Exchanging your XH1 for EM1x? I don't think that's a trade I would make since you already have the EM1-ii. The XH1 is a great camera and I think very unique in the Fuji lineup, if not all modern cameras. I have this camera on my shortlist of cameras to own one day. I really like the thicker metal body, the top plate display, the grip, and controls. You have a great selection of lenses for it to boot.
The EM1x is not unlike the XH1 for its uniqueness among all modern cameras but doesn't offer much more over the EM1ii. I think waiting another year to see what OMDS brings out would be a better move over having two OMD's that are essentially the same in terms of IQ.
That said, there is a human element in this decision. Giving something that you enjoy in exchange for something that is relatively modest in return to support the next generation is what makes our world a better place and priceless.

Re: buymeacoffee editing
Decided to do another fun edit. I really do not do much painting look. But the things I do usually did not fit this photo.

Demorcan, thank you for the nice edits. I think your last edit is very
beautiful. I could never do this kind of editing. fantastically done.
Rob, thanks to my ex colleagues I ended up at FUJI Belgium. and they had some suggestions for me. Everything is second-hand, a Fuij XH1 (250clickx) with 5 batteries and Fujifilm Mkx 18-55mm T2.9 (not picked up after repair).
All this for the price of 2500 euros.
The EM1X with 12-40mm f2.8 was sold today for 2100 euros.
You had to see the sparkle in her eyes (amazing) if her dad agreed.
That all ends well.
Thank you DeMorcan and Rob
