I tried it myself. I don't have a macro lens. So I used the 14-42mm kit lens with a 16mm extension tube. That costs some light and these bugs are almost constantly moving. Couldn't stop down further. So this one came out. Shot with E-M10 II @ 42mm, f 6.3, 1/60th, ISO 200:
Nicely done! Never tried extension tubes, but they did a great job. And yeah, this bugs are "annoying", especially if there is a lot of sun outside... they move like crazy. Your photo is great! Congrats.

As lemonhawk said, when I saw this immediately I thought box elder bug. VERY similar. NICE shots!!!
