I’ve been meaning to take get this adapter for a long time. Finally picked one up and was very surprised at the performance and how much I liked it. So I did a video today to share with you my thoughts on it.
Here are the pictures from that video. They are free to use for personal use. Just click on a picture so it fills your screen, then right click and save!

Good morning Rob.
Thanks for another informative video instruction. I am a real estate agent in Johannesburg and take my own shots of properties. I have an EM5 mk 2 + 14 – 40mm Pro lens. Would this converter provide adequate quality for brochures and websites?
By the way Rob, don’t be too self critical, you do a very good job for us Olympus fans without trying to sell your books as most do.
1. Have you considered a video on the pros & cons of scene settings?
2. Would you recommend staying with the panorama settings or going strictly manual?
Regards
Ronnie.
This converter won’t work on anything but the 14-42mm kit lens. It will be fine for websites and brochures, though I’ve not used it for my real estate work. I’ll take it out on my next job and see. I’ll give some thought to the scene settings, but they are very limited. Not sure what you mean by panorama and manual. I do panoramas in lightroom only. The in camera panorama is not great because it usually leaves visible seams in the stitching.
Given the large volumes of emails you must receive is it okay to reply to each with a simple thank you or does it clutter your inbox and your day? You have answered my queries, thank you.
I actually don’t get that much email, but I’m not used to getting any at all. I need to develop a better workflow to help people as my channel grows. Thanks.
Congratulations on your 100th video Rob – I have watched most. Your enthusiasm for photography and easy going style has encouraged me to explore the potential of my Pen F.
Keep up the good work!
Here is a link to an image I took today with the 17mm prime lens where I took up your suggestion to use the dramatic filter on a cloudy day.

Hi Rob,
I did write to you about using the wide angle converter for real estate photography with my 14 – 42 Pro lens and you were going to try it out but I have not heard anything since. On the same theme I am considering either the Pro 7-14 or the 9-18 Zuiko lens for interiors and would welcome your comments on which you would propose.
