Thinking ahead to November sales, I'm thinking of adding telephoto lens to my new EM1MII. I already have the 75 tp 300, the 40 to 150 f2.8 pro looks interesting, especially the low f-stop and the possibility of using the 1.4x adapter. The F4 300 seems out of my price bracket, but the 100 to 400 looks interesting, but rather large, a lot to lug around, but it is 400 mm and you can use the 1.4x adapter so Its a real possibility.
I use the 75-300 a lot So the f2.8 is appetizing, 400mm with lens IS is difficult to pass up but its f4, not that much different from the 75-300.
Anyone have any opinions?
What telephoto lens?

Re: What telephoto lens?
I know exactly how you feel. I haven't pulled the trigger yet myself. The 40-150 has enough reach for most things and will definitely be sharper across the same zoom range. The 1.4x gives a little more reach at f/4.
The 100-400 is tempting but you'll always need to be in good light. Sure, a few situations where it won't matter what the light is and you'll really appreciate the extra reach, but I think the 40-150 will get more shots.
