Baby Birds --- have left the nest!

Post by GearHead »

I was up on my ladder trimming my palm tree. Yes, I know at 73 years old I probably shouldn't do this. But then I would not have seen this nest with two baby birds. Their eyes were closed but they were breathing. The mother bird returned to her babies right after I was done trimming.

Em1.3, Oly 12-45 pro, handheld hi-res, 12mm, 1/1000, f5, iso200, Aperture priority, on a ladder.

The two baby doves have matured to the point that mother dove left the nest saying, "You are on your own now."
