Laying by a pond taking bird photos, I took this with the other camera. Critiques welcome. Trying a little soft focus on the busy shot.

It is a nice shot, too busy for me, but i like the reflections.

But to busy indeed, may get out the mower first.
Bit more softness when its this crowded.

Thank you both for your comments. It is in a somewhat remote area that will not be mowed as quail nest there. Maybe I will re edit it with a soft focus look. Or first use another method for resizing as that does make it look busier than the original.

Yes, as others have said: too busy. Soft focus will help if you identify a subject. Maybe the fallen tree, the reflection, or the warm grass.

Does this look less busy? I simplified it and then added some brush strokes and subtle texture.
